Considering Regeneration Strategies for Carbondale

  • Third Street Center, Calaway Room 520 South 3rd Street Carbondale, CO, 81623 United States (map)

Don Hall has served in a variety of capacities throughout the Transition Towns Movement over the past 15 years, and is currently Training Coordinator for the International Transition Network. Don holds a Master’s in Environmental Leadership from Naropa University, and received a Permaculture Design and Consulting certification at Colorado Rocky Mountain Permaculture Institute in Basalt in 2008.

Most recently, Don has authored his first book: The Regeneration Handbook: Transform Yourself to Transform the World. The Regeneration Handbook offers an abundance of insights, stories, tools, and resources for experienced and aspiring changemakers to step into their power. By introducing readers to a different kind of activism, based on natural and universal patterns, it points the way to a truly just and regenerative future.

Don will share about his many years of work in the Transition Town Movement that inspired and informed The Regeneration Handbook. Earlier this year, Don travelled to 19 communities in the US sharing the many gems – principles and practices – from his book on how community can come together to address its collective future.

There will be time for Q&A and a gathering of ideas for regeneration in Carbondale that attendees see as priority.
