The next SRRR Online Workshop addresses a question raised at the first workshop in the series: "Who is planning for a post-collapse world?" Our discussions considered that there is more than one impending system collapse. A cascade of collapses has already begun, is growing more severe, and is increasingly taxing the resilience of ecological, economic, social, and other systems.

With over 15 years of involvement in the Transition Towns Movement and currently serving as the Training Coordinator for the International Transition Network, Don brings a wealth of experience and insight.

Our world is facing unprecedented social, economic, and ecological risks resulting from extreme growth over the past 100 years. We need bold vision, implementation, and actions, from all perspectives and all viewpoints. This workshop combines presentations, forums, Q&A, and peer breakout groups, with the goal of generating ideas and pathways forward.

A hands-on regenerative workshop with Don Hall to develop greater leadership skills and help guide a transitional movement across central Ohio, starting from where we are (in particular, our regional Pollinator Pathway initiatives), and helping us to connect to a wider circle of ecological transformation.

Don will give a reading from his new book, with interactive visioning activities to guide regeneration in our lives and communities. Families with children are welcome.

According to Hall, a regenerative community might look like one where there’s an abundance of small farms and gardens, a vibrant culture and economy powered by sustainable local businesses, solar panels on every rooftop, more bikes than cars, good public transit, and plenty of spaces to gather and commune with nature. It would also be a place where people from all walks of life regularly come together to dream, discuss, and design their own destiny.

This workshop will feature short presentations about the importance of effective collaboration and how Spiral Dynamics can help you reach beyond the choir. In small groups, participants will create an “elevator pitch” for an initiative they would like to see happen in Sarasota and receive feedback from representatives of each of the six major worldviews described by Spiral Dynamics.

This workshop will feature short presentations about the meaning and importance of the Inner Transition and the seven stages of Theory U. Participants will support each other in creating personal action plans and reflect on how to maintain balance in their lives, using a tool called the Mandala of Life.
