Hosted by the Work That Reconnects Network.
Over the past two decades, the Transition Towns Movement has spread from one group in Totnes, England to more than 1,000 communities in over 70 countries around the world. Supported by Transition Network International and 21 regional and national hubs, local Transition Initiatives work holistically and collaboratively to grow more just and regenerative communities from the bottom up – revitalizing their local food systems, strengthening their local economies, and reducing their dependence on fossil fuels.
In addition to this focus on practical projects and external systems change, the Transition Movement has also emphasized the importance of “Inner Transition” from the very beginning. Inner Transition topics commonly include honoring our gratitude and grief, understanding the psychology of change, shifting paradigms, discovering purpose, transforming culture, and engaging in a diverse array of practices for cultivating inner resilience, such as the Work That Reconnects.
In this webinar, we’ll hear from three Transition Movement leaders working at the intersection of inner and outer transformation:
Don Hall (USA): Training Coordinator for Transition Network International and author of The Regeneration Handbook: Transform Yourself to Transform the World
Anahí Beatriz Pacheco Araneda (Chile): transpersonal psychologist, Transition Trainer, and Lead Link of Transition Network’s Cultural Transformation Circle
Martina Francesca (Italy): Work That Reconnects Facilitator, Transition Trainer, and co-founder of La Prossima Cultura
Come learn more about the Transition Movement, ask questions, and explore connections between Transition and the Work That Reconnects. In the global “movement of movements” of which we are all a part, we tend to be stronger, smarter, and more successful when we choose to work together.
