Transitioning to a Resilient & Sustainable Future

Mountains Beyond Mountains

Our world is facing unprecedented social, economic, and ecological risks resulting from extreme growth over the past 100 years. This extreme growth is called by many experts The Great Acceleration and is wholly unsustainable. Our society is quickly reaching the Limits to Growth and is beginning to unravel. With depleting resources, our future will have much less energy available, and we are unprepared for the impacts of this.

How businesses or organizations respond to this unravelling will affect everyone and everything. Understanding the "how and why" informs future pathways, and where our efforts could likely prevail. We need bold vision, implementation, and actions, from all perspectives and all viewpoints.

This workshop combines presentations, forums, Q&A, and peer breakout groups, with the goal of generating ideas and pathways forward.

Workshop objectives:

  • Delve into the current environmental, economic, and social polycrisis

  • Prepare for potential Black Swan events

  • Envision a holistic and inspiring future

  • Create a framework for transitioning to a resilient and sustainable future

Cost is $125 per person, which includes lunch, drinks, and snacks.
