The Transition Towns Movement: Growing Regenerative Communities

  • Online (Eastern Daylight Time) (map)

Starting in one small town in England in 2006, the international Transition Towns Movement has since spread to over 1,000 communities in more than 70 countries worldwide. While every Transition group is unique, responding to local needs and opportunities, all are dedicated to cultivating more just, sustainable, resilient, and regenerative towns, cities, neighborhoods, and counties – collaboratively, from the bottom up.

This free online event will feature a presentation and Q&A with Don Hall, author of The Regeneration Handbook: Transform Yourself to Transform the World and Training Coordinator for Transition Network International. Don will provide an introduction to the philosophy, principles, and practices of the Transition Movement, share inspiring examples of local community transformation, and offer suggestions for how to get involved.

Please note that this event is being offered as a preview for a two-day Transition Launch Training that will be held on Saturday, October 25th and Sunday, October 26th in Cincinnati, Ohio. For more information about that, please click here.
