Transition Towns Workshop

  • Two Locations Cincinnati, Ohio USA (map)

Starting in one small town in England in 2006, the international Transition Towns Movement has since spread to over 1,000 communities in more than 70 countries worldwide. While every Transition group is unique, responding to local needs and opportunities, all are dedicated to cultivating more just, sustainable, resilient, and regenerative towns, cities, neighborhoods, and counties – collaboratively, from the bottom up.

This two-day workshop will be led by Don Hall, author of The Regeneration Handbook: Transform Yourself to Transform the World and Training Coordinator for Transition Network International. Don will provide an introduction to the philosophy, principles, and practices of the Transition Movement, share inspiring examples of local community transformation, and offer suggestions for how to get involved.

In advance of this workshop, we’re hosting a free webinar on October 15th. Learn more here! Any proceeds beyond event expenses that are raised from this workshop will go toward future Transition-related initiatives implemented by attendees.
